Write a blog they said. What should I write about I said. Write about what you know, what you're passionate about they said.
Okay well for me that's two things - cars and saving money. That means that, as far as I'm concerned, I have the best job in the world! I get to immerse myself in cars but also help others to do what I love doing - finding and negotiating the best deals. Paying as little as possible. And then taking charge of the whole process to smooth it and remove all the hassle. What's not to like?
So that's me, that's what I do. It's why I set up in business in the first place. Having worked in the industry and then moved on to other things I found people approaching me asking for help. Anxious not be, well, taken for a ride. Keen to find a good deal but not sure whether or not they could achieve that for themselves. Having started to do this for more and more people, and looking into the background in more detailed, I made two important, linked, discoveries.
Firstly there was a real need and appetite for a middle man, someone who knew the ropes but was impartial and independent and could therefore be trusted to give best advice. Secondly no one else seemed to be doing this. Those who claimed to be actually had their own vehicles to sell which immediately took away the element of impartiality.
Over time I have built up a unique network of contacts with the industry who can supply me with the vehicles my clients require at the preferential, reduced rates they and I demand. If it didn't work for people I wouldn't be in business. But time and again it does work for people. Every day we're saving our clients time, effort and money. From, the testimonials we receive we know they appreciate what we do.
So here I am ideally positioned to help you. I look forward to be able to serve you.
And I look forward to writing more blogs - now I've got the hang of it!
